After digging in the dirt this bull came in my direction, not in a threatening manor, just in pursuit of some love from a nearby cow.
Once again I paid the penalty of using a prime versus a zoom, what I feel is a better option for elk.

My 150-600 Sport zoom was a mile or two hike away in a cabin. I brought them both one night out but it was a heavy hike
