Before applying, I gave the buttons a little wipe with Isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils, for a good bond.

For less than $5, anyone can buy a pack of sixteen 10mm vinyl bumpers from Walmart, Amazon, Home Hardware, etc.

Seem to stick on A9 and A6400 shutter buttons just fine. If one comes off and gets lost, it costs me a whole thirty cents or so to replace it.

10mm would be much too large for the back button of the a9; 5mm would be more like it, but I prefer the moldable method, as you can custom size & form each one.

I'd prefer just getting an A9II and not needing any of these DIY weekend projects

Man, this is a tough crowd...

Grip feels nearly the same and is indistinguishable from the others if switching between the twom. Connectivity? Who cares? Mechanical shutter for a camera all about 20fps eshutter? Dual uhs ii? Uhs-2 is too slow and the a7riv with both as uhs-2 shows that it doesn't speed things up much(in crop mode for similat sized files). Not a tough crowd at all. More like some people are too in love with a brand and will praise anything.

I give him credit for that and I didn't mind the video as much as I minded the original article.

Interesting that he didn't mention anything about the "improved" EVF (other than wanting a design more compatible with his glasses). Maybe the glasses issue meant he couldn't really put it through it paces properly, or maybe the changes Sony made to refresh rate, lag etc. are really not very noticeable after all.

Still, I await more reviews and tests to find out how much the AF and image quality (and EVF) have been improved and whether the changes are subtle or significant. Subtle is my guess.

I don't think anyone would pay extra $50 to get an A9II....they are not going to be in hot demand judging from the internet reaction to the camera unless Sony severely cripples the supply. The camera comes out in 12 days from now in the US which means likely this week in Europe if the last few camera/lens releases are any indication...wouldn't pay $50 to have it 12 days ahead either.

Well at least some of us are going to be able to get our hands on the camera for a short time at the Sony Creative Space a couple of blocks from PhotoPlus in NYC this coming Thursday through Saturday, October 24-26.

Hopefully, they have a BIF station setup. Because testing a sports camera on some models standing around seems sort of pointless to me.
