I wasn’t planning on buying a lens today when I walked into Houston Camera Exchange, well, I picked up one of 2 they had on the shelf. Apparently, the people who ordered it didn’t come in and pay for them. So I picked one up around noon today. Nobody else was looking at it when I left. Give them a call if you’re in the market for one.

To my surprise, my 200-600 order from early September has shipped from focus camera.

I'm still internally conflicted about keeping this vs 135GM.

That’s very interesting. I love my 135gm, but 200-600 brings such a different focal range and versatility.

Just received e-mail notification that mine shipped from B & H today for delivery tomorrow. I had ordered it on August 18th. Maybe they're getting more of these made to take care of the backorders.

It seems so, I just checked and B&C also shows them in stock. Definitely faster restock than the 24 GM was/is lol

I used to order all my gears from BH, Adorama, lately I found out there are many regional camera gear shops around the country with stocks too.

So spread the words.

I got lucky and picked up one that was basically brand new on the B&S Forum for $150 Less than retail. Lens is amazing and is sharp as he k even with a 1.4 TC on it.
