Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo

Just showing the impressive beak on these beautiful birds. This one was busy tearing apart a Banksia tree after the large grubs that they go after mostly in Spring, the grubs can be up to 6" long. They will dig a massive hole to get to these grubs.

Scientific name: Calyptorhynchus funereus

Hi Morris, I was in school when they switched from Imperial to Metric, so like a lot of my generation I use both.

My children don't know what I'm talking about when I use Imperial
