Yes! Fall colors are almost here. This is the approach to Firebrand Pass, Glacier Nat'l Park near the end of last September after a light dusting of snow.

Even our worst weather day was glorious when we were in Glacier National Park, coincidentally last September. Our last day there, they opened the entire western side of the park. Thanks for the memory Doug!

I would have liked to get up there earlier in the day (same for the image I posted earlier for Medicine Grizzly Lake). However, it was 6 miles up and with the bears in a state of "hyperphagia", trying to load up on as many calories as possible before winter, it would not be prudent to walk too much of the trail in the dark to make it there by sunrise. I don't want to be any of those calories!
