Impressive head crop. However, and with respect Morris, this is an example of "scope creep" which I wrote in another thread started by gdanmitchell (in Landscape Photography forum). By that I mean that posted images are getting larger and larger and in some cases people with smaller screens --e.g., smaller laptops -- can't see the entire image. gdanmitchell has a recommendation for that.

P.S. A note for Fred Miranda: Fred, you may want to reconsider an increase in resizing photos for posting from 800 pixels (in the long dimension) as stated in your FAQ to something larger.

The detail's incredible Morris? Was this on the tripod or handheld? Is the IS on the Fuji 100-400 dependable for hand holding?

I joined the discussion in Dan's thread. This is a no win situation and needs to be solved by making this site dynamic by having it resize the photos as appropriate for display in the device in use.

This was taken handheld. There are 5 stop of IS on the Fuji 100-400 and it works great
