some more shots from last year's trip to Tuscany. I had rented a car for 4 days during my 3 week trip. Plan was to pick it up in Florence and drive around Siena, Crete Sensei, San gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and then return it at La Spezia. Unfortunately, the car broke down on my first day driving from Florence to Asciano (just past Siena) and i pretty much was stranded from 2PM to 1PM the following day without a car, with the horrible service from Avis.
I had planned on spending 3 days around Asciano, driving around the Siena, San Gimignano, Crete Sensei area, but between the rain on 2nd last day, was limited to Siena and the Crete Sensei area and had to go to San Gignanano during my stay in Lucca.
My first night without a car was a really nice sunset and a great sunrise the next morning, but i was stuck at the house i was staying at. I did get one other day of good light at sunset.
