Waited a bit past sunset on a full moon evening. Yes it was scary with no one else around, but I could see my car and hence was not worried about losing my way among these dunes. Sights like these keep taking me back to the Death Valley even though at times of the year it ends up being a loooong drive.

This is beautiful Bibek. I'm amazed that there are no footprints visible at the end of the day

Morris,
The Eureka Dunes are a bit remote and hence people do not usually flock there as much as the Stovepipe Wells which is way more accessible. The day I was there was also in the middle of January and that negated a lot of people. That's the reason I prefer the Eureka (also it's a shorter drive from the Bay Area when the Tioga Pass is open). On this particular day I have may have seen a total of some 3 cars.
very nice shot! Death Valley is one of the few major NP's in the southwest i always seemed to have excluded during countless trips to the southwest. Hope to get there one of these days.
