Here is the first set of photos from my 2 night stay in Vernazza. I'll post another set later that i played around with locations during the time the rest of the tourists are out
I was hoping to get better light/clouds during the sunrise/sunset golden hours, but it usually got overcast at the peak times. I did get some good light on my first night, but lost a good light time because of the horrible customer service from Avis when i had to drop my rental car off at La Spezia. I had rented the car for 4 days in Tuscany and overall horrible customer service when the car broke down in Siena - lost a 1 1/2 days in Tuscany dealing with the issue and getting a replacement in Siena. Than after driving from Lucca to La Spezia was trying to deal with the issue with the horrible Avis staff when it was their lunch break. Ended up having to wait outside in the pouring rain while the staff took their lunch break and siesta for 1 1/2 hours. Ended up getting late to the train station and had to take a late train from the La Spezia station to Vernazza - which really pissed me off since i missed the nice light when the weather changed.
Anyway, here is the first set of the good light photos from Vernazza. The second day it became overcast at sunset and was overcast for sunrise on both days (except for a brief 5 minute window).
