I'd love to see some more shutter speeds revealed here in use of those shots that all seem so nice and sharp. I'm finding a need to keep things at or above 1/2000th to nail focus. Is that supposed to be "normal"? Or what has been the typical lower shutter speeds allowed for a sharp shot handheld
I shoot a little differently than others.
Mostly, when I lift the camera to my eye, I'm taking three shots. (with one push on the shutter button)
At these lower speeds, I need to let the o.s.s. settle down, and I don't always do that, so the first shot is blurred.
The second shot, the o.s.s. has settled, the movement from pressing the shutter is over, so the second shot should look better than the first.
The third shot is a bonus, although it could still be better than the first two.
Anyway, out of three shots, one of them should look pretty good.
On faster shutter speeds, I still do this, but ,all (most of the time) of the photos will be sharp.
