So I discovered this nice spot, just a few feet from a paved walking path in the park but screened off by blackberry bushes and some trees and which afforded me some shots of wood ducks, green herons and a mink a week ago.

Here are some more shots of a few juvenile green herons. They have not yet developed their full adult colors. Quite a few great egrets soaring above but lighting was not optimum and I scratched.

Good set. Lovely detail in that last image. Glowing bill is a bonus.
