I explored a pond I did not know about till the other day when I spotted it on my GPS while driving. I explored the trails that go around one side of the pond. Yesterday I thought the first was a black duck yet looking at it today I'm leaning toward female mallard. All the others are mallards. You know it's hot when the ducks get out of the pond and sit under a tree. I've thrown in some queen anne's lace for the fun of it.
