The last 2 weekends I visited nearby wildlife refuges that are mainly prairie grasslands with some wooded habitat.
It was amazing to see the diversity of birds in such areas.
Hope you like this set.

thank you for the nice comments. I am very happy about the meadowlark because they always hang out far off in the distance, so all my previous pictures had been very heavy crops.
In this particular wildlife area, I was surprised to see them venture close to the trail.
