In the Winter Months when they are breeding our Pelicans are brilliantly colored. However, most of the year they are brown and drab in color. Shot this one flying by this afternoon.

I love the pose in the first yet the photo seems a bit back focused. The second is spot on Steve. Looks like a hot and hazy day
