I had hoped to see some bear but no luck this go round. Maybe in the fall.

These are all excellent images. The eagle gave you a couple of superb poses and let you get close enough to get the second one which is outstanding.

Thanks Dave. That Eagle was very cooperative until some hiker came up the trail with his lap dog and the dog chased it off. I was half hoping the Eagle would return for dinner

Jason, how close to Campbell River was the sea otter? They are not usually found on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

The Eagle was near Campbell River. The otter was further down the coast near Victoria.

Great shots Jason, I was in Campbell River last week and I photographed many eagles feeding on fish. I hope you enjoyed your stay on our beautiful photogenic island.

Thanks, Heck I might have seen you. I saw a couple of folks down by the boat ramp waiting for the Eagles to come around. We loved it up there.
