This is one of my most popular images among customers (one issues a framed copy of this each year in recognition of their 'person of the year' award for water quality service). However, after seeing it posted here, the older technology used to create this image doesn't seem to hold up well versus more modern gear.
I've been out of professional photography for some time and am getting cranked back up. Anyone here migrate from the original Canon 500mm f/4 to mII? I know the II is lighter and focuses faster (and that the pending RF and mIII are even lighter), but do they render different? I love the IQ of my f/4, but am deciding to sell it or keep it depending on rendering not lens weight.
