I've heard all the disparaging remarks about the Bald Eagle. It's a lowly scavenger, a lazy thief, etc. All I see is a powerful, majestic, and beautiful bird. The fact that I saw one circling over my home the other day for the first time in over 35 years of living there gives me great hope for it's eventual comeback.
