So i watched Mark Galer's vid on how he went to set up his cameras for wildlife, but it wasn't really working for me; but again I only was out a few days.
Yesterday I searched again. and found Mark Smith's AMAZING video. Granted his camera is an A9, but I can use about 95% of the info for my A7r3. He also has videos using the new lenses; 600mm f/4 and 200-600mm at the NY Redbull game. Favorable thoughts on the 200-600 to say the least.
Anyways, for anyone interested, here is his video on explaining his setup
I am heading back to Yellowstone in late July for 5 days this time for a photography trip, so am going to shoot wildlife mainly. His set up seems to make much more sense to me than what I had set up before.
And dang, that 600 looks so light. Now do I spend 14 grand on a lens? I want to, but my wife would so so SO kill me.
