T, It's a wonderful and artful rendition of your son, but not sure what the goal was with this shot?
Technically, on my end, his skin has a weird purple cast. Then we must realize several things in portraits, or any photo, our eye goes first to the brightest area, then to the darkest area. AND if there are words prominently displayed, we're gonna try to read them, all of which becomes a distraction from the subject.
you needed a kicker as well.
But, in the name of art, I guess we can call anything goes!!!
I like it as art but needs a bit of work as an actual formal portrait.
I do like that you have fabric detail in some of the white area but then we lose it as it goes up. Maybe the light got a little hot!
Did you have the box right above your head, since there are no shadows and the catch-light is almost dead center?
