This is an interesting thread, so few users and such nice images. I've been shooting the SL system since 2019. Started with the SL and moved to the SL2 and SL2s. I've owned all the SL lenses multiple times. I wonder if any of you are like me.
The image quality from this system is, in my opinion, superior to the other brands I own and have owned. But as we all know, it's very big and very heavy, the tech isn't quite.....up to par, but at the same time, it's very awesome too.
Over the last few years I've traveled extensively and while traveling I lean towards smaller systems. I tried the Q's and the Fuji x100's but I tend to use zooms more for travel for convenience and my m system for shooting primes. I do pretty good financially but end up thinking I should sell the SL system (because of the size, cost and the fact that I don't use it much when not traveling, kids are older..etc) and buy a quality travel kit that I can use as my everyday kit along with my M system. I've done this a couple times now.
BUT.....I end up missing my SL system, which happened again...for the 3rd time.
I recently bought an SL2, a 35 APO, 24-90 and the Sigma 50/1.2. and imagine as the deals pop up, I'll have a few more (Thinking, 75 APO). So nice to be back in this system. I love downloading the images.
Decided to keep the Sony system, stripped down with just a couple of zooms (the new f4 G's) for travel with my M10r and use my SL system for everything else and not sell it this time...lol
Cheers all

Hi Matt Kerby,
although the Panasonic DC-S1 is less accomplished than the DC-S5 II, I decided to keep the first one for my need, merely because of the better EVF resolution. Indeed, It looks like more "natural", less contrasted than the DC-S5 II's. I mostly use manual focus...
Besides, I decided to part with my DC-S1R because of DN between 125 Iso and 400 Iso which I found perfectible. Nevertheless, it's a good camera.
When I travel abroad, I take DC-S1 (and my late DC-S1R) and the Leica SL 24-90 for its convenience despite its weight. I also take a few small, lightweight lenses for safety, such as the Panasonic S 85/1.8 and 20-60/3.5-5.6...
Best regards.
