The three buds on this Echinopsis developed at the same rate so I thought I would have the ideal three in the frame. but it was not to be. The images were taken on three consecutive days. My emphasis has been on control of the highlights of the white flowers.

The stereos are crosseye.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f9 or f8, hand-held.

Lovely Harold. This is close to the cactus I pm'ed you about. However, mine flowers from the side, not the top ~ Ron

Strictly, its not quite from the top.

I have a really spectacular Echinopsis due to flower in the next few days and its buds are way down, near compost level.
