Terrific work Morris, these birds are hard to get right on the exposure and to bring out the details and you've nailed it.

I agree with surfnron: #3 is special. The expression makes the shot distinctive.

Thick haze produced the soft light and I added a touch of flash to fill the shadows

I've struggled to get this type of detail for years. Switching to mirrorless I was able to see my errors as I take the photos and correct
