Yesterday I posted images of an Epicactus hybrid with three flowers at different stages of blooming, Today I show another hybrid where the flowers also opened sequentially but a much shorter period, such that they were all fully open together. These are smaller than the previous one, the "cups" being about 10cm diameter.
These were shot in shade, except the last. The twiggy background of the first image more closely resembles the natural habitat of the parent species of the hybrid.
The stereos are crosseye.
Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/40 f11 ISO 800, 1/13 f9, 1/15 f10, 1/320 f13 ISO 320, hand-held.
