This Epicactus hybrid has some genetic ancestry of night-flowering species. It flowers day and night and is highly-scented.
I hoped the three flowers would open together but it seems we are to get one per day. The one on the right is almost over and the bud on the left will open later today. Each is about 6"/15cm diameter.
Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/60* f11 ISO 800, hand held. I used the short period of still air to photograph them outside, in shade from the early morning sun. * 1/80 for the stereo pair.
The stereo is crosseye.
