well.....not a distant memory yet, one pond open, the bigger pond on the other side of the breakwall i was on still has ice covering most of it, this eagle was "chillin" as the sun just started coming up

actually, last night, i wanted to head out this morning again after seeing what yesterday produced, but last night went down to -7C, the car and everything else was covered in heavy frost this morning so i didn't bother, didn't feel like heading out before the sun came up and freeze till the sun warmed things up, even still the high for today is only going to be 8C

thursday it was 18C, through the night was warm also so i headed out at 5am, from there the temp just kept dropping, by the time i came home at 10am it was damn cold with a strong wind out of the north...monday is calling for a couple inches of snow and through the week if we hit 9C that is going to be a warm day
