For this old south Alabama boy that is some rough water!!!! One day I'd like to get up there and just see that great lake. A great inland freshwater sea it seems. Great shot!!!

That is some very dramatic water. (Being a Pacific Coast guy, I expect this occasionally where I am, but I didn't realize the lakes produced that sort of thing.)

On occasion, a storm comes in with a strong NE wind. Last Thrs was one of those days. It was quite a show. On a normal April day, not many people would be out. Thursday, there was a constant stream of photographers out braving the crazy conditions. The normal 3 hr drive up was.....interesting....both directions.
