The subject line says it all. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to visit iconic landscapes in the American Southwest, Iceland, and other places around the world. When visiting those places, I've taken the classic shots of those landscapes that many folks have for the understandable reason that they're classic shots for a reason. But I've also tried my best to find "new" beauty in those landscapes by capturing alternative perspectives of those places. They may not be better than the classic shot, but hopefully they're at least something different.
The first shot below is the classic shot of Kirkjufellsfoss in Iceland, and the shots that follow are my attempts to capture alternative perspectives of the same waterfall from different angles (e.g., from the other side, the bottom, the top, close-up, etc.)
I'm fully aware of the talent of the photographers on this message board and would love to see what y'all have come up with for other iconic landscapes around the world.
