I took my family to Yosemite the last 3 days. Due to it being a family trip, I did not attempt any solo outings, but I did take my 16mm and 55-200mm and was lucky to get some late afternoon time at Tunnel View on one of the days. It wasn't what I would consider the ideal time, but due to a lot of broken cloud cover, I was able to get some decent shots. Of the 3 days there with the family, I did not attempt to wake up at 5AM, nor did i go missing during dinner. The 20 minutes I got at Tunnel View one afternoon at roughly 5PM was the only "landscape" style shots I got.
Gotta admit, it was kind of tough being at a location that I'd love to be by myself photographing all day, but it was also nice building some memories with the family.
This is my favorite shot from that 20 minutes at Tunnel View.
