Don’t know if it’s just a studio shot or someone at work or what, but I’ll give you my opinion anyway! LoL
I used to do a lot of “negative space”, years ago and used to, like many, talk about the “mysterious” dark areas. Then I went to Photo School(real photo school), and the professors would always comment on the dark areas.
Long story short, I don’t shoot like that much anymore.
You have a lot of very nice detail that’s obscured by dark area, I’ll call it underexposed area. Like you’re trying to use the negative space as positive space. Your image could be greatly enhanced by showing us the amazing detail that’s really there, in the mask and the fabric in the jacket and the glass in the mask. Maybe even see the eyes inside the mask, peering out as a race-car driver peers out his helmet.
Anyway, just suggestions from what I was taught as a way to shoot.

Thanks John! It's a studio shot and the details in the background really doesn't matter. But i'm very much agreeing with you referring face details.
