I can promise I would be one of those high (worst) scores. Trying to see shades of, or small differences in, color makes my head explode. Can't do it.

I took a workshop with someone who is a zero (best). On the last day, we were doing some edits, and she would make an adjustment and say "see how much better that color looks?" Others nodded... I said "nope!"

Maybe that's why I really enjoy black and white.

What, worst score 1600? I would have thought the worst score for a male in the age range 60 - 69 would be much worse than you young whippersnappers! They do say that you'll do better with a calibrated monitor as is the case with me. I consider my monitor an entry-level, wide gamut, unit that was not a particularly expensive however it's more than good enough for this photography hobby of mine.

Hmm, I dunno, maybe the older you are the more likely you'll own an editing monitor and keep it calibrated?

Just 'cause your eyes aren't up to the task on intricate color discrimination by themselves ... umm, your knowledge / use of your color analytic tools has served you well, very well.

With the monitor at work I had 6, on full 8bit Eizo at home with weary eyes at 1AM I have 2 at age 40-49. Guess those monitors at work aren't a pinnacle of color reproduction
