After seeing the gems that Bob has posted, I started a second round of processing from 2017. Here are some for your C&C

1- Hippo with Jr in Golden light

2- leopard cub feeding on a giraffe kill. We spent the entire day with the mother and the cub

3- lazy King

4- African fishing eagle calling its mate

5 - baby baboon - chewing on grass straw

6 - Bull ele in dramatic light

7 - Pelican in morning light

8 - Queen starting her morning rounds

9- one of the most graceful and awesome raptor

10 - the king himself - he looks right through you

11- Coucal

12 - Frisky painted wolfs

13 - Pelicans on a branch

14 - male baboon from another trip

15 - cape buffalo checking me out

16 - Pelicans in mating colors

These are very nice images! If this is "scraping the bottom of the barrel", you should keep scraping.

The picks from the first few passes were relatively easy
For these I had to take a hard look to determine if there was a picture and even then these required more post processing, hence the bottom of the barrell

Only 16, I'm disappointed! I enjoyed every one of them KD. There is a halo around the head of the baboon in 5 and a much larger one around the elephant in 6. Both look like processing artifacts.

Those are some amazing “bottom of the barrel” photos - the best that I have seen! Hard to pick favorites but I would go with 6 and 8.
