p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · My take on BIF shutter drag

Since enjoying both Birdied and Morris's slow shutter speed BIFs I thought I would post one of my own. It's a challenge to get the right balance of blur and detail, and each of us had a little different interpretation but I think they all are nice images and have merit.

I can imagine getting a quality image is actually more difficult than capturing traditional in-flight pictures. I like this one a lot--nice flow that compliments your subjects.

Thanks for posting.

Hi Kim,

If the photographer has a good pan, this is a lot easier than you would expect. The hard part is learning the look that will be created by different shutter speeds, focal lengths and distances.
