Finally got the conditions I've been waiting over a month for. Most mornings have been clear, one recently started with some cloud potential and then got rained on. Others were just plain boring. This was the one.

I live quite similar to the way you've taken the shot, only not as high and in Sweden so the days right now are dark, grey and cold Waiting for a good sunset to get a shot over the marina here as well. Congruats on a great capture.
Thanks for all the kind comments, everyone. It's kind of a relief to have made this image after thinking about it for quite a while. My mornings are more relaxed, though the urge to go out and do it again is growing.....
