It was 6 degrees saturdy at sun rise when I went to shoot in north central MA just below the NH border. Even with arctic grade gloves and two rechargeable electronic hand warmers it was pretty miserable out there...
Guidostow, I've been struggling with trying to find a good glove system for years. I recently picked up a pair of Heat 3's and they are AMAZING! I use the Merino liner because it's the most tactile, and the shell in white. They have pockets for hand warmers, haven't had to use any yet.

I was out at Garwin Falls in Wilton NH 2 weeks ago and I was chilled to the bones. The waterfall was frozen nicely and got some good shots.

I don't believe I have been there... Maybe I'll check it out this weekend. Keep warm!

Google maps indicates that Garwin Falls is closed. Is that bad information?
Trapp Falls in Ashby on Rt.119 and Doanes Falls in Royalston MA are great spots as well. The latter just know there is zero cell phone reception down there.
I may hit Trapp Falls on Sunday since the weather is going to be nice.

Thank you, Morris! I was going for a sort of half s-curve per-say, and thought the curved trees complimented the composition vertically.
Garwin Falls is definitely open! themb3life nailed it, I was just there shooting. Speaking of which, thanks for the tip. I may have to check out Trapp or Ashby as well.

Two of my favorites!
Trap was quite frozen when I was last there two weeks ago.
The water volume at Doane is generally much higher and faster than Trap, so I don't think it would freeze up as much. I haven't been there in a couple of months so I can't give a more recent report.
Bring your crampons/cleats as it is very steep and slippery in places!
