The rivers in Washington State are seeing more activity with eagles eagerly waiting for the returning salmon. Eagles are typically perched all along the river's banks keeping a watchful eye out for the dying salmon.
All shot from a jet boat.

I enjoy seeing these eagles in their habitat Louie

Nice work on exposures and focus, the last one seems to be a bit on the cool side for WB to me but none the less I like the environment

I'm planning on spending the day today up on the Nooksack. While I won't be shooting from a boat, I do hope to be able to capture some incredible images. You've given me something to aspire to today. Of course I won't have the nice bright light you did but of course shooting eagles on a dreary day is still way better than being at home not shooting at all.

Wonderful, Louie. I like 2 for the wing spread and 4 with the moss, the best.
