"When we get to the end of our lives together, the house we had, the cars we drove, the things we possessed won't matter. What will matter is that I had you, and you had me."

You may not get much love for this shot, well done as it is.

There are 6 to 9~ graphic and composition elements* competing for attention and to my eye, that's diffusing the central purpose I gather you were after (I could be wrong, of course). If you're inclined to do a reshoot, you might consider:

1) eliminating the hand and wrist jewelry - or at least all but one ring - and eliminating either the necklace or the headpiece... I don't think it matters which;

2) have her splay her right hand onto her left forearm. It's amazing how much difference open and linear fingers can make;

3) maybe over-sharpened?

I think your focus may have nailed her nose, rather than her eyes... only an issue if it bothers you.

* head piece; arm ink; necklace; bra or camisole peaking out; ring, ring, bracelet; clutched hand/right hand breaking at the wrist toward camera...

Beautiful lady, nice light/expression. Just maybe a bit cluttered. She doesn't need so much adornment.

Thanks for looking, and thank you for your honest advice.

As to focus, I intentionally focused on her right eye (camera-left), which is critically sharp to my eye in full resolution. In hindsight, I should’ve perhaps stopped down a bit to capture both eyes as she’s pretty much looking straight on toward the camera...but, the background would’ve been even more distracting, so I prioritized blurring it out.

Pretty lady, full of charisma and artistic persona.

The trait I cant overcome here is the OOF foreground arm and elbow. Had her same limb been a background element, and similarly OOF, the impression would be totally different. OFF foreground elements are, in general, less agreeable most observer's eyes, but nothing more some than an elbow protruding from the canvas.

Another try, perhaps?
