My neighbor asked me to take some snaps of her daughter's family and so I agreed even though I'm not much of a portrait photographer. It was in prep for this shoot that I discovered that most of my lighting modifiers are missing (recent move, haven't needed them), so under-equipped and a bit nervous, I went forward with the session. I probably did a number of things wrong but all seemed please with the results. The shot below is grandma's fave:
