The Samyang 135/2 is famous for superb bokeh balls.

You would love the GM 85. Smaller mechanical vignetting compared to the Batis 85. (less cat-eyes)

Sony also fixed the focusing at f/5.6 or smaller apertures. All you have to do when shooting in studio is turn Live View Display: Setting Effect to "Off".
The lens will always focus at f/2 regardless of the working aperture. (If smaller than f/2)

PS: That goes for the FE 50/1.4 ZA as well.

Neither Batis 85 nor 135 has aspherical elements.

Here is a comparison GM 85/1.4 vs Batis 135/2.8 (both wide open)
If you don't like cat-eye bokeh, the GM is your lens! The Batis 135 is pretty clean as well.

That's what I thought. I just checked my 85mm. The bokeh balls have none of that nipple with a side of dirty areola "character" in them.

The GM 85/1.4 has one "extreme aspherical" element located towards the mid group which does not produce noticeable onion rings either.
