Sony also fixed the focusing at f/5.6 or smaller apertures. All you have to do when shooting in studio is turn Live View Display: Setting Effect to "Off".
The lens will always focus at f/2 regardless of the working aperture. (If smaller than f/2)

Here is a comparison GM 85/1.4 vs Batis 135/2.8 (both wide open)
If you don't like cat-eye bokeh, the GM is your lens! The Batis 135 is pretty clean as well.
