I just returned from this remote region in Southern Ethiopia near the border with South Sudan. This was an absolutely exceptional adventure and the photographic opportunities were unique. I'll post more images of tribesmen from the region in a few days.

I too love to see the people's traditions and the cultural varieties in the world. I do wish the size was a bit smaller to be able to see entire frame w/out moving slider. Just a nitpic....

Try double clicking the image. With Win10 and the Edge browser, the image will shrink to smaller than screen size. Don't know if Apple will do something similar.

Hmmm, the high ISO is showing on those pictures with a not so nice noise (first and last)
Why did you not dial down the iso and go for a shorter shutter speed?

Under the circumstances he probably didn't have much choice due to poor (low) light. Dial down the ISO and risk motion blur due to slower shutter speed.

The natives must spend a lot of time on those elaborate facial makeups.

Posted size and noise are kinda issues, but I don't care because they are stunning shots.
