Beautiful Dave, quintessential Mara.
Thanks Eric. I agree. Morning in the Mara is a great experience.

Beautiful shot Dave. Love the comp.
Thanks John. Other than reducing to 16:9 the crop is very slight. Trimmed a tiny bit off the right because there is a bump in the land there that ruined the straight line.

What an exquisite image, Dave! I love how they were individually separated - well done!
Joshua
Thanks Joshua. It's not often that we see something so beautiful. The wildebeest were spaced out perfectly.

Really great mood in this shot. I like the low horizon and the distribution of the animals along the line.
Thanks for your comment Jurgen. This shot came out just as I hoped it would.

Just about perfect. Colors, mood, crop. Can’t think what you could have done any better. Well done!
Thanks for your very nice comment.
This shot was taken the last day of our trip to the Masai Mara. Until that morning the sunrises had been pretty bland. When I saw this sunrise, the clouds, the light streaming, and the wildebeest, I knew it was a special shot. I felt a lot of pressure to get it right. Opportunities like that are rare. I took a lot of shots and several came out well. This one is my favorite. It has essentially no processing, it came out of the camera pretty much as you see it. The only significant processing was cropping to 16:9 and cropping a tiny bit off the right side. There was a bump in the land there that ruined the straight horizon line.
Thanks everyone for your very generous comments.
