| p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Anyone else using the Meike MK-A9 Battery Grip? Mine is resetting my camera menu settings. | |
I've owned this grip and the A7riii for about 2 weeks now. The grip has been working flawlessly until a shoot yesterday, at which point when I turn the grip off (while leaving the camera power in the On position, which was the advice given on the Amazon product page), it resets a lot of the camera menu settings I have assigned (from what I can tell, mostly category 1 - RAW type, Drive Mode, etc), though not my custom key settings.
I have no idea why it began doing this.
It's now behaving this way every time I try it.
If I turn the camera power off and leave the grip power set to ON then this doesn't happen, but the advice I read on the Amazon page for this product gave the exact opposite advice, which I'd been following without issue until yesterday.
Anyone got any ideas?
