I love the first one! Really wonderful and out of the box creativity to me! Awesome job!!!

The second one would be just as powerful but I find the dark bottom left part of the leave distracting.

Thank you Mark! Had some pretty wild light when I was out walking the other day. I might consider lightening that corner - I can see how it’s distracting - when I pushed the darks that went with it, so a local adjustment might be needed. Lots of our maples that have gone yellow have black / brown blotches this year - not sure what is causing it but I need to ask the town arborist and see if it is unusual.
