So, I joined the club and went for a first test run with 24 GM this weekend.
My overall impressions are very positive: fits perfectly on A7III (e.g. as compared to CV 35 1.4 Classic which I think is less comfortable to use because it's on the "too small" side), sharp, fast and silent AF, aperture ring (I think I won't be able to live without it soon ), really nice MF (though I still prefer "fully" manual voigtlanders a bit). Both 24 and 1.4 faetures are a bit new to me so I'm still getting used to it, but it looks to be a very fun combination.
However, I've run into some fringing (or whatever else it is?) mostly in the corners, can you tell me if this is typical of this lens?

And this is what I was able to salvage from RAW, interestingly enough CA correction (even with analyze run prior) introduced more fringing instead of reducing it, so I only set the fringing slider to max and disabled CA corretion altogether in CaptureOne:

Any thoughts? Important thing to note is that I was shooting with Hoya UV filter on, not sure if it can exaggerate the fringing effect....Show more →
The fringing in high contrast areas is a weakness of the lens. I use mine with no filter and get the same result. LR seems to do a decent job of removing most of it, although with some IQ loss.
