From this past Friday night at "Intersection Rock" within Joshua Tree National Park. I envisioned this image in which I wanted the car lights to be included in the picture. When I got to the rock, I knew that I wanted to climb about 40 feet up, but got scared at roughly 15ft.  . I'm really pissed because that 40ft level would have gotten me the composition I really wanted, but this will do.
My tripod was cemented in the rock for 3 hours to create this image. I really, really need a 2nd body to get other images while I create images like this. As I walked around looking and contemplating, I saw such great imagery come to pass with the setting sun that I could not capture since my camera was imaging a "blend". Gah....anyone got an extra X-Trans 3 camera body sitting around they want to get rid of?
