As usual, Mark, an amazingly seen and rendered piece of southwest art!!

Apart from all the technical expertise, this is such a wonderful use of the idea of anomolie. Draws the eye right in. See yourself in there somewhere?

That is an absolutely captivating image. I love near-abstracts from nature, and this one has such a careful composition and tonality that I keep coming back to it.

This is likely one of my favorite images from 2019 that I have processed. With the brand new sharpening techniques, LR Profiles and the lowering of saturation in the shadows... I am more inspired than ever.

Sorry, I took an extremely needed vacation (after 3 months on the road and 16,000 miles driven) and hung out with my 80-year-old mountaineer/marine (still at it and strong) father in the remote.

I'll get back to work now.

Actually I was very surprised yesterday to find out that this photo won “the photo of the month” at “the worlds best photographers and artists” group on Facebook. Considering the insanely awesome and consistent work posted there, that is always inspiring me. I would never have thought!
