My first attempts at experimenting with an ND filter. Took a drive up and down Big Sur area and snapped these. Comments and criticism welcome please.

I suggest you straighten the horizon in both pictures. Both images are a bit flat and uninteresting. In the first picture, the daylight was too bright, so you didn't have a slow enough shutter to see any cloud movement. In the second picture, there was too much cloud cover, and at slower shutter speeds, all you get is a solid cloudy blob. Broken storm clouds work the best with long shutter speeds.

I think you did a good job on the exposure and using the ND filter.
As said, you should level the camera before taking photo. Level/crop in post if you have to but you lose part of the image unnecessarily that way.
I like #2 with the blue color and soft blurred waves. With a little color in the clouds I think it would be terrific.

Not much to complain about in #1, except horizon problem. There's quite a bit of horizontal curved distortion, maybe from a wide angle lens?
