LOVE the last shot!
I am going in about ten days.
Was the plane shot as a single image at 20 seconds? It is remarkable! I assume you light painted it and the exposure looks perfect! I heard a lot of people are take photographs there but none in your photo. I assume not too many visiting at night?
i have not been to Iceland before - Really looking forward to it. Renting a camper van, will be there eight days.

Yes, single exposure and light painted. If you do this bring a really dim light, my little flashlight was a bit to bright & I had to tone down the plane a bit. It was hard to tell how many were there as its so so dark there but probably about 10 or so. I tried to shoot when others didn't have lights on and also cloned out some people. Have a great time.

Lovely rainbow! The DC 3 is neat too. Well done.

It's interesting to see how much Budirkirkja has weathered over the last couple of years... looks like they need to break out the black paint soon.

excellent series! love the church and airplane crash, those are the top two places on my list to see when I get to iceland.

I have already commented on the plane
2 and 3 are so nicely composed
Hey, all are!

Didn’t make it to the plane
My understanding is a couple miles each way in the black sand unless you sneak across private property at night

Thanks Scott. The walk to the plane took about an hour for us along a well marked level dirt/rock road from the parking lot, you don't have to walk in sand until you are at the wreckage. The walk back was a pain very very dark and I was very tired but it would be a lot easier for a younger person
