What should have been a lovely hike up to Snow Lake was interrupted by a fierce hail storm. As I didn't want to try descending the trail while it was in progress, I hunkered down with my body sheltering my backpack and camera for about 20 minutes while waiting for it to pass. When there was finally a break in the storm, I saw sunlight piercing the clouds and snapped off several pictures of the scene before hurrying my way down the trail before the storm's return.

I'm a complete newbie compared to the rest of this site, but hopefully this isn't too amateurish.

It's a good start, good location, you just need more sun and clouds, and turn the picture clockwise a little (2 degrees)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to pay more attention to the level on my next hike. I figure as long as I learn at least one thing on every hike/photo editing session, I'm doing okay. (Also why I've been paying more attention on this site lately.)
