Cross post from alternative gear forum. This morning this was my first time out in the field with my new to me Pentax 645Z. The camera is very intuitive to use, there is a button or dial for everything, nothing to memorize or go hunting in menus. The process of shooting with this definitely becomes more deliberative due to its bulk but the files are amazing and easy to process.

That is some turbulence in the water in there, and you did a fantastic job capturing it.

Thank you for all the encouraging comments. With all the rain that we had sometimes the falls look swamped and muddy but the slower shutter speed and the lifting fog helped to capture the scene.

This reminds me of Africa, Where did you shoot this? Nice job! When I was in Uganda last year both my A7R2's shut down due to extreme humidity shooting a scene like this. I think it was the highest humidity I had ever encountered.

This is Great Falls National Park about 10 minutes from my house in the Washington DC suburbs.

I have not encountered such extreme conditions that my camera shut down, wintertime the batteries don't last very long, in the tropics the worst is condensation going from air-conditioning to the outside.
