Details for the more inquisitive:
I have gone to this location 3 times now and all I can say is that some key locals have said they have never seen anyone out there photographing. It is huge and has unprecedented photographic potential almost like the other popular pockets areas everyone goes to. I have several images coming out from here that will all be different.
I get asked by clients and people online how I find these places and it is really pretty simple. I spend hundreds of hours scouring Google Earth and then create paths that I load into my GPS and each year from about late July until late September I spend many days scouting to find new stuff. This year was a total goldmine of new locations. Some of which I have now taken people, and some still secret.
Having the new 4Runer has helped tremendously! I am amazed at its 4 wheeling capability! Milage is over 10,000 miles in about 5-6 weeks! My first ever new vehicle and I LOVE it!
Post-processing: Nothing much here but a handheld image to show my client the potential of the wide angle (11mm). Aside from my Lightroom custom default settings, and your every day general processing, nothing extraordinary was done to the shot. We did capitalize on last-minute maximum contrast.

I have to head back to Glacier National Park again (was there 2 days ago) for a couple of weeks, and then over to the Pacific Northwest to finish the season. Sorry, I am extremely hit and miss right now. Late November will calm down and a lot of work is on the way (4-5 year backlog).
Lastly, it has been a pleasure of pleasures meeting more FM Landscaper Forum folks than I ever have in the SW this year! It always amazes me how many people follow our work but never comment (lurkers). Thank you for your awesome encouragement!
All the best to everyone, and great light to you!
